Poll Shows Parents Value Small Class Size

A Monmouth University poll reveals parents believe small class size is the most important factor to a student's success in high school. The survey of New Jersey parents asked participants to rank five factors in terms of importance. Topping the list was small class size with 40% of participants selecting this as most important. High SAT scores and many AP courses tied for second with 19% of parents citing each of these factors as most important.

However, using these same five factors to rank the performance of New Jersey high schools for the September issue of New Jersey Monthly, the Monmouth researchers found that high SAT scores were the strongest indicator of a school's ranking.

With a typical class size of approximately 20, consistently above average SAT scores, and a growing AP course offering, LVCHS is blessed to be able to offer excellence in high school education from a Christ-centered worldview.
