By God's grace, LVCHS ranks among the top schools in Pennsylvania according to the 2005-06 PSSA test results.

In reading, LVCHS ranks in the top 10% of schools (63rd out of 666)in the percentage of 11th grade students achieving a rating of 'Advanced' or 'Proficient'.

LVCHS is among the top 15% of schools (84th out of 665) in percentage of 11th grade students achieving these ratings in mathematics.

These rankings are based upon the fully aggregated school-level PSSA results issued by the Pennsylvania Department of Eduction for the school year 2005-06.

The PSSA tests are a series of standarized tests administered by the PA Department of Education to evaluate school performance. All Pennsylvania public schools are required to participate. Participation in the PSSA testing by private schools is voluntary.
